In 2004, we implemented at Cement Plant ODRA an Integrated Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health and Safety Management System. We built it based on the requirements of the PN-EN ISO 9001, PN-EN ISO 14001, and PN-ISO 45001 standards and we are continuously improving it. Within the System, we manage key processes related to quality, environment, and occupational safety in a comprehensive manner, which guarantees the production of cement meeting our customers' requirements while simultaneously caring for employees and the natural environment.
Since 2014, we have been among the companies that have implemented the European environmental certification system based on the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EC) No 1221/2009 of 25 November 2009 on the voluntary participation of organisations in a Community eco-management and audit scheme (EMAS). The EMAS standard requirements provide us with guidelines and sets of good practices that organize duties related to environmental protection, optimize costs, and improve the efficiency of energy and resource management. The eco-management and audit scheme EMAS is also a reliable system for reporting the organization's environmental impacts, facilitating open dialogue with stakeholders.
In 2017, we obtained the right to mark our products with the "Reliable Cement" quality mark. This mark, awarded by the Cement Producers Association, is proof of meeting the highest standards and technical specifications for cement parameters at all stages of production.
