KPR Gwardia is a club with a long history rich in many experiences and successes, present in Opole since 1945. It has raised many outstanding handball players who played for the national team. Currently, KPR Gwardia competes with the best teams in the country in the Orlen Men's Superliga, and plays its matches in the modernized Stegu Arena at Oleska Street.
