What graduates of which universities/fields of study are preferred for internships?

We offer internships to graduates of technical universities. Our preferred fields of study include Materials Engineering, Mechanics, Automation and Robotics, Electrical Engineering, and Environmental Engineering.

Does Cementownia ODRA offer internships for graduates of higher education institutions/secondary schools?

Graduates of higher education institutions and secondary schools are offered the opportunity to undergo professional internships. An internship helps to gain valuable experience, acquire new skills, and confirm competencies.

How can I apply for an internship/traineeship?

Your application should include your personal and contact details, the name of your university/school, chosen field of study/class profile, current year of study/class, and a general scope of the internship/traineeship.

Do interns at Cementownia ODRA receive remuneration?

Interns do not receive remuneration for their internship.

Is Cementownia ODRA organizing internships?

Yes, we offer internships for students who want to gain practical experience while still studying and explore what their future job may involve.

I have been hired, what's next? The first day at Cementownia ODRA.

We know that the first day at a new job can be stressful, so we want to help you get through it as smoothly as possible.

On your first day, come to the HR and Payroll Department at the agreed time. Be punctual, as being late does not look good.

First and foremost, you will need to undergo training in safety and workplace hygiene.

If you have been asked before to provide documents confirming your education and/or previous employment by previous employers, bring them with you. An employee from the HR and Payroll Department will make copies of the documents and ask you to fill out the necessary forms to prepare your personnel file.

Can I send my CV if I haven't found a job offer that interests me?

Of course, send us your CV and cover letter, even if there is currently no job offer that interests you. Your documents will be added to our CV database, which we use when opening new recruitments. Just remember to include consent for the processing of personal data using the appropriate clause in your CV.

What to do when there is no possibility to send application documents to us electronically?

Application documents can be delivered in person to the secretariat of Cementownia ODRA.

How can I find out if the application documents have reached Cementownia ODRA?

After submitting your documents, you will receive a confirmation of message delivery to the email inbox from which the documents were sent.

In case of failure to deliver your message, you will receive an Emailer Deamon email (with a technical summary of the reasons for non-delivery of the message). Emailer-Deamon notifications do not require additional configuration, as every mail server should handle them.

A good cover letter should answer the following questions:

The cover letter should not exceed 1 page of A4.

The cover letter should be sent to us in a non-editable format (e.g. PDF).

The cover letter is not mandatory, but it should encourage us to review your offer and invite you for a job interview.

What should a CV contain?

Your CV should include your personal and contact information, as well as details about your education, experience (places of work or internships), qualifications, achievements, additional activities, and interests.

Remember about the accuracy of your contact and personal information. The information you provide must be true.

Don't forget about the clause consenting to the processing of personal data. If you don't include it in your CV, your application documents will be immediately rejected.
