Financial support from Cement Plant ODRA S.A. for the publication of the textbook by Prof. Jerzy Wyrwał

Cement Plant ODRA S.A., in cooperation with the University of Opole, Opole University of Technology, and the State Academy of Applied Sciences in Nysa, has been supporting educational initiatives in the Opole region for years. As part of the cooperation, we provide measuring and research equipment for scientific research purposes, organize internships and practices for pupils and students, and also sponsor scholarships for special achievements and financially reward graduates who promote the use of concrete in construction in their works.
The next step in maintaining our activity in the field of pro-educational actions is the co-financing of the publication of a book by a construction engineer specializing in building physics and thermomechanics, an academic teacher associated with the Opole University of Technology, Prof. Jerzy Wyrwał titled Mechanics of Materials for Construction Students. The textbook is devoted to the study of mechanical phenomena occurring in construction materials.
Thanks to the financial support of Cement Plant ODRA S.A., the publication was released by the Scientific Publishing House PWN S.A. and thus became available to a wide audience, including students, doctoral candidates, and scientific staff of technical universities throughout Poland.
We express our appreciation for the scientific achievements and contributions to academic education of Professor Jerzy Wyrwał and wish him further success and satisfaction from future accomplishments.
